Thank you for applying for the Council for IWU Women Scholarship! Please review these important reminders for the application:

Applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.
All IWU current students are eligible to apply for our scholarships. Applications are reviewed anonymously.
Applications must be completed in their entirety and completed via this form.
Each essay must be 300 words or less- applications that do not meet this requirement will be disqualified. Please discuss different accomplishments/experiences in each response.
Winners will be announced at Women’s Weekend during the Scholarship Luncheon- students must be in attendance to accept the award unless given explicit permission otherwise.

One tenet of the Council for IWU Women’s mission is to promote democratic citizenship in a global society, which is demonstrated by leadership and working for change within our communities. Describe a time when you demonstrated leadership and/or worked for change and the impact it had on your community or on specific individuals.

Another tenet of the Council for IWU Women’s mission is to support the intellectual and personal growth of women by offering guidance and role models to the extended University community. Describe a time when you demonstrated support for another girl/woman. What motivated your support and what was the outcome of your support?
