The Illinois Wesleyan School of Business and Economics invites you to the second annual Kinder Brothers Distinguished Business Speaker Series featuring Whataburger President & CEO and IWU alumna Debbie (Burton) Stroud ’90. Hailing from Downs, Illinois, Stroud took the helm at Whataburger in 2025, continuing a 75-year legacy of “pride, care, and love” that stretches across 17 states and 1,130 Whataburger locations. The Kinder Brothers Distinguished Business Speaker Series is a cornerstone of programming in IWU’s School of Business and Economics, with thanks to the late Garry ’55 and Jack ’50 Kinder for their generosity. This annual event brings influential business leaders to campus to share their experience and insights on leadership, strategy, and emerging trends.
